They are known from ancient medicines, and are universal. Here are a few:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The human body is a whole, not an addition of parts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Structure<\/strong> governs function;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of the artery (and all the &#8220;roads&#8221; of the body, such as nerves, energy circuits, etc.) is paramount;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The body is endowed with the ability to self-heal (homeostasis).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight-text\">To give just one example, this last principle is illustrated by the fact that the osteopath does not try to be more cunning than the great Intelligence of the Living.
