What a miracle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The osteopath is only an instrument in the hands of greater forces, a humble servant. But without the patient&#8217;s participation, there is no completion. Two &#8220;poles&#8221; are involved in osteopathy:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Contribution of the &#8220;Great Architect&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230; The prowess of the immune system; The regenerative capacity of cells; The magic of blood clotting, and healing of all living tissues; The different modes of elimination and purification of the body; The countless mechanisms of adaptation, those of homeostasis, and all the other biological processes by which the healing of the human body occurs&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group alignfull has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#f5f6f7\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"inherit-container-width wp-block-group alignwide has-white-background-color has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>All this gives rise to a multitude of captivating descriptions from modern science about the mechanics of these biological processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the &#8220;mechanic&#8221;, the intelligence that orchestrates these mechanisms, and the raw material behind this operation, remains unknown to this science.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>  Modern science has a knowledge of the living world, which quickly reaches its limits. And whole sections of the reality of life escape him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a large gap between true knowledge of these realities, and current scientific knowledge. The &#8220;Great Architect&#8221; is the term that A. T. Still, founder of osteopathy, sometimes used to talk about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Contribution of the individual<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Healing is fundamentally a process that engages the whole individual. Osteopathic correction is only one element in the whole. In a clinical setting, the concept of comprehensiveness specific to osteopathy is sometimes limited to the physical level. This is the minimum to be covered in this context.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At the Longueuil clinic, the osteopath takes into account not only the interactions and links between the different systems, the different parts of the patient&#8217;s body, but also his lifestyle; Diet, exercise, sleep, ergonomics of daily tasks, stress management, and sometimes food supplementation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>During a treatment, the osteopath sometimes provides advice on at least one of these aspects. And when a client needs more specialized skills in one of these areas, they collaborate with another professional; Nutritionist, posturologist, ergonomist, teacher of yoga, tai chi, pilates, sports coach, doctor, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignfull is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight-text has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">It should be noted that the concept of globality is much broader, than can usually be taken into account in a conventional clinical situation. Those who become aware of the roots of their discomfort on other levels (energetic, emotional, mental, etc.) better understand the concept of globality.
